Justin Casinghino completed his composition, “One Hen”, for Vento Chiaro in September. The composition is based on the popular children’s book of the same name; it is a story about how one small loan and one small boy can make a difference in the world. The work will be world-premiered at our FFA children’s concert on Novemeber 17 (10:30am) at Coolidge Corner Theater, Brookline. Come hear how the woodwind quintet becomes and tells the story of the chicken, the boy, the mother, the banker and the loan. The concert will also include Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf. So, a cat, a bird, a wolf, a bird, Peter and his grandpa will also join us. Come for some fun at the Vento Chiaro “Zoo”!!!
