Sam Childers joins Vento Chiaro after performing with the quintet on numerous occasions throughout the 2013/2014 season. As a chamber musician, he has performed with the Santa Monica Symphony Wind Quintet, Chamber Players of Los Angeles, and the University of Michigan Faculty Chamber Players. Sam was a member of the Missoula Symphony while a student and has since performed with the Ann Arbor Symphony, Toledo Symphony, Colorado Symphony, and Boston Pops Orchestra. He studied music and bassoon at the University of Montana and the University of Michigan. His primary teachers were Roger McDonald and Richard Beene.
